Varnish 2.x has been EOL for a long time and this bug as such does not
apply anymore. Installation scripts were adapted to work with upstaart
and are now in sync with systemd policy in debian.

I have sent an email to the debian mantainer to see if there are plans
to include this in experimental or something like that.
In any case it would be worthwhile to help him with the update into

A workaround for PowerPC:
1. Make a symlink to the library from version 6 to 5
1. Install the debian package (you MUST ujse the -force-all flag for dpkg):

2. Run IBM java and see it working
3. use aptitude to solve the dependency problem

N95 works, so I'm editing the bugs tags.
The Option device is not being recognized as a modem, just getting
serial ports (se lshal file). Works with HSO connection software for

After some more testing I get a different result:
I checked the 10-modem.fdi file and found out that I had added a line
for the n95 and commented out the generic CDC ACM lines.
So I erased my selvmade N95 configuration and after checking twice the
fdi file I took away the comment line for the CD
N95 is recognized by nm-tool. No internet connection possible yet (most
likely some PPP issues).
So this is fixing bug #262392 as well (marked that as "Fix Committed" as
well).

The SmartCam project has now a working version for Linux (yes, they have
tested it under Ubuntu Hardy) and it would be great to get the app
packaged and ready to use under Ubuntu.
What it does, basically, is:
