Since the xx.17 Firefox update any flash links demand a Flash upgrade,
which I install with debi but never see work. Installing linux versions
- gnash, kplayer plugin, etc, do not appear either. When I have the
time, I'm sure I will find the rig
That might be a good idea. An "outsider" comes to the Ubuntu support pages
and is immediately hit with "option panic," and the options as listed are
not entirely clear. It can, I believe, take hours for one to find the proper
way to leave a quick few lines of feedback.

the website itself is far too confusing, requiring one to plow through
multiplied pages of definitions and fine points before even finding a way to

Sorry to say, for the folks who might have been hoping to find out more
about this weird bug or malfunction, but (if I remember right from then)
the fixes I tried got nowhere & I wound up cheating, reinstalling the
whole OS. In my fumbling experience with terminal-level fixes there
always winds up

After, possibly from having pasted some text from a Thunderbird email
for printing, the printer insists on printing everything from OpenOffice
1/4 scale, on the top right corner of the page. No gui adjustments to

The toolbars and menu bar disappear, and only the item under the cursor
becomes visible. Dropdowns go blank as soon as the cursor touches them,
then only the item under the cursor appears. This began as an
intermittant problem
