repository dialog, I got India servers selected for updates

1. Create an Ad Hoc network (say ad-hoc-network SSID) and connect to it.
(Successfully connected and works with my iPhone)
2. I go to the network manager applet and select another infrastructure (say

I also had my webcam working on Hardy, but the same cam on same machine
is not working in Intrepid.
I can not get the cam working with any of the app, cheese or skype. I
get no error while running cheese or skype, but don't get he video.

Manager is not displaying the correct status icon (in the notification

I don't have that box with me right now, need to check as soon as I get that
box. but I would like to give you little more details perhaps it will help

I updated the system at home, where I have a wireless internet router
(modem+wireless router). when the system was updated my resolv.conf fil

I figured out the problem. I was able to ping any IP (be it my local network
or google's ip) but not able to ping any site by name (not even my local
network or google.com). In the connection information dialog (In the network

If I give the command 'LIBXCB_ALLOW_SLOPPY_LOCK=1 java
-jar /usr/share/doc/sun-java6-demo/demo/jfc/SwingSet2/SwingSet2.jar' it
works fine.
Now I am able to execute the jar file correctly.
