Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
I am using Ubuntu 8.10. Today I updated my system and after that Power Manager is not displaying the correct status icon (in the notification area). I plug my system on power still the power manager displays the icon as running on battery. If I mouse over the icon, it says computer is running on AC power. I have attached the screen shot for the same. lsb_release -rd output: Description: Ubuntu intrepid (development branch) Release: 8.10 apt-cache policy gnome-power-manager output: gnome-power-manager: Installed: 2.24.0-0ubuntu2 Candidate: 2.24.0-0ubuntu2 Version table: *** 2.24.0-0ubuntu2 0 500 http://in.archive.ubuntu.com intrepid/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ** Affects: gnome-power-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Power Manager displaying wrong status icon https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/275904 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
