Similar problems in my system after upgrade from 10.10 to 11.04. Network

My God! Basic cd-burning Ubuntu application is not working. How can I
advertise Ubuntu if such basic functionality as copying CD's is not
working?! K3b - that works straight away belongs to KDE. I want Gnome!

Since some time I have the same issue. I don't know for how long,
because I muted sounds for a couple of weeks. When I enabled them back
today, pidgin segfaults when playing a sound announcing an incoming
message. I run Xubuntu 9.04, with pidgin 2.5.5 as a virtual machine on
top of virtualBox 3.0.1

That's great that it has been fixed in Gutsy, but I have similar
"problem" with letter "ł" (polish) in 6.06 which is supposed to be LTS,
so why don't you fix it in Dapper?
