My laptop is Lenovo R61 with Nvidia NVS 140 discrete graphics.
This failure does not happen every time too, but I can say that almost always
when I suspend laptop with any Openoffice application or Java based application
such as Eclipse 3.5 IDE running.

Asus P5B Deluxe mobo has two onboard network interfaces.
First is MArvell 88E8001 Gigabit Ethernet Controller and second is
Marvell 88E8056.

chipset and Pentium IV 3GHz and it installed without problems.
I "apt upgraded" and moved hdd to machine with Asus P5B mobo and Core 2
Duo CPU. Then I just couldn't boot.

then I have to use windows... because - yes you are right - I can
confirm that daily build from 20.09.2006 still doesn't work with Asus
p5b deluxe.
Please, fix it. I really want to switch back to linux as quick as

I absolutely disagree with your decision because I think that you missed
my point.
I reported this bug not because there is python related file in debconf,
but because there are two python related files one for python2.3 and
another for python 2.4.
And while there is no python 2.3 in ubuntu repos
