i just wanted to exec mv from terminal using sudo to move content of a
directory to an other place (in this case downloaded php documentation).
there was more than 9000 files in my directory, then i got this message.
$ sudo mv /home/jerikojerk

if i open firefox
Edition > preferences > application tabs
the application for "audio Windows Media" files is set to "Windows Media
Player Plug-in 10". i can not install this software in with synaptic :D

hwtest-gtk did not allow me to provide my true email address (the one in
hotmail.fr ) stating that it is not a valid mail address.
this app is no localized properly: gnome button are in french but
question are in engli
i get same bug with a inkscape 0.46 generated svg. "floating point
exception".
i add that icons on the desktop had vanished after some try.
hope that 8.04 will fix this annoying bug.

i connected to a remote ubuntu pc (7.10) with a admin account using
supported version of ssh (up to date).
i simply write "sudo halt" to shutdown the remote machine.
the probleme is that ssh-client freeze instead of exiting. i reproduce
this many time.

i get similar bug with an install of ubuntu 7.04 from CD with safe
graphic mode. ( it occurs when i was in this mode and after the
installation. i reinstall it from zero in normal mode then my progress
bars are back... )

i get same bug with edgy today. ( i use an old Deskjet 930C printer)
I want to stress that the print job is executed BEFORE i log in, i mean
that i just where on gdm screen when print start.
It is very annoying cause that's not me that need this print => Security

Why local issue?
i want to run a old vibra 16 sb card (ISA slot) which does not work on a
new install of edgy.
I get a different error whith edgy up to date. I get binaries from
official repository.
