Public bug reported:
While upgrading my computer from 13.04 to 13.10, I got the message 'An
unresolvable problem occurred while calculating the upgrade'. I only use
the official Ubuntu-repositories and some ppa's that can be switched off
without problems.
ProblemType: Bug
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 13
Had some succes with manual compiling according to instructions from
http://foo2zjs.rkkda.com/
After a reboot the effects were undone, however.
But at least we know it's not the printer ;)

Well, since the first poster doesn't use compiz, it cannot be a compiz

with compiz).

kicker crashes after upgrading to KDE 3.5.10

Yeah, it's still in 3.5.10. In fact, I mistakenly thought it to be
related to the kicker-taskbar-compiz, because I do use compiz. see link:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kicker-taskbar-
compiz/+bug/261694
But it isn't. I have done some layman research and these are my
conclusions:
1.
Hi,
I doesn't matter if I change viewports or not. They don't disappear.
Also, I've tried to change some settings in ktaskbarrc but it doesn't
change a lot (also, there aren't that much settings that can be changed.
See my ktaskbarrc below:

I think the problem is strongly related to whether kicker autohides or
not. I've just disabled autohide and until now, it works just like it
should work. As soon as I enable autohide again, taskbar-compiz doesn't
clean up all the old windows.

kicker crashes after upgrading to KDE 3.5.10

Andreas,
I just installed the .deb package on my Kubuntu 3.5.10. It doesn't
clutter the taskbar as much, but I do still see closed applications
linger on the Compiz taskbar. Contrary to earlier, they do disappear,
but it takes a minute or so. Right now I'm looking at Thunderbird and

I just changed wallpapers (Kubuntu 8.04 with KDE 3.5.x). After the new
wallpaper was used (4 MB in size!), I kept getting the above error and
my desktop icons weren't displayed. After I replaced the huge wallpaper
with a smaller one, everything went back to normal. This behaviour is

This was indeed the same bug. After I removed the offending keys (by
