Yeah, it's still in 3.5.10. In fact, I mistakenly thought it to be related to the kicker-taskbar-compiz, because I do use compiz. see link:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kicker-taskbar- compiz/+bug/261694 But it isn't. I have done some layman research and these are my conclusions: 1. When I have Autohide disabled in the taskbar settings, the problem doesn't occur. Ever. 2. When I lock and unlock the panel, the leftovers disappear, but it start again after i close a window or two. 3. It doesn't happen for all windows, but I couldn't find out any predictability in which are and which are not influenced. 4. When a window is closed, all items to the right of that window slide one position to the left. The former location of the rightmost window doesn't get overwritten, so it stays visible. 5. If I close a window by rightclicking it on the taskbar and then choosing close, the problem also doesn't occur. But I haven't tried it often enough to say "Ever" like in 1. Conclusion: So it seems to me that the redraw event doens't take place when the taskbar is hidden while closing a window. I hope this can be resolved. -- In Kubuntu Hardy, closed applications remain on the Taskbar https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/239645 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
