I have a similar problem :
Old Core 2 Duo system (one of the first Toshiba Core2 laptops),
regularly upgraded (all the way from hardy to maverick at a minimum).

Possibly helpful hints :
- make the amd64 version of the package depend on ia32libs (universe,
therefore openbugs must go to universe, too...) : I've been bitten twice
in as much weeks... BTW, I'm not too optimistic about a future 64 bits
version of OpenBUGS. The curious choice of co
abases. An
updated driver would therefore be a boon...

I cannot use a newly-created sound profile to rip to MP3 : this newly-
