issue. After not having much success, I ended up installing 17.04,
which went through fine, and then upgraded 17.04 to 17.10.
I then decided to try installing 17.10 cleanly, one last time. FWIW,

I just installed Aptana Studio 3.6.1 on Ubuntu 16.04. I got the same
problem with (gedit:14126). So, I open the Nautilus, and I found on
/usr/share/applications the icon of Aptana Studio 3. I clicked on it,
and it just open and the application is working now! I hope it can work
for others.

I just tried my own patch on Lubuntu 14.04. Control_R works fine, but
