Public bug reported:

I am running:

Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 14.10
Release: 14.10
Codename: utopic

and PHP:
PHP 5.6.6-1+deb.sury.org~utopic+1 (cli) (built: Feb 20 2015 11:25:37)
Copyright (c) 1997-2015 The PHP Group
Zend Engine v2.6.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2015 Zend Technologies
with Zend OPcache v7.0.4-dev, Copyright (c) 1999-2015, by Zend Technologies
with Xdebug v2.2.5, Copyright (c) 2002-2014, by Derick Rethans

ISSUE REPLICATION:
while running command:

           sudo apt-get install php5-zmq

I get the following error:

The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
 php5-zmq : Depends: phpapi-20121212
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

I found that --> phpapi-20121212 refers to php5-common, which is
already installed ... but looks like the reference is causing a loop
because phpapi-20121212 is referred to the php version 5.5 causing the
problem.

Then i am not able to install such package at the current install, you
can use the vagrant larval/homestead virtual machine to replicate the
issue I am using that to try to fix it and no success so far.

Thank you!!
