about to dump our printers for another brand. I'm having some trouble
patching and building this to incorporate your fix. Before I screw it
up further, is there now a patched, compiled version for Lucid
somewhere? Since Lucid
I just upgraded from 1.03 to 2.31.91 on Lucid and text scanning is too
gray for OCR without manual post-scan processing. I realize there was a
readability issue for some using lineart but it would be nice to have

Is there any progress on this at all? I see there is work being done on
LIDIL problems, but this one seems far more widespread and certainly
more expensive. My shipping labels are coming out light blue-grey and
cause issues with the scanners. Not to mention burning through color
cartridges at $3

I'm getting the corrupt mountpoint line on Lucid 10.04.1, but no
terminal color issues. I seem to have a vague memory of dealing with
this before and it having been marked as a bug, etc. Is the fix
supposed to have already been sent out in updates or are we still

It would seem that ttf-tahoma-replacement is now impossible to install
with Wine 1.2 also installed, even for those who want it. I happen to
like this font, and it solves a number of web formatting issues for me

I just installed Lucid and found that the Tahoma replacement isn't
working in Firefox. After reading this I see why. Call me odd, but I
liked the replacement font and it fixed formatting issues on a number of
sites. Is there some way to make this work the way it did in Karmic,

The attached mp3 is the one that caused the output in my file above I
believe. If I even just try to open it with Rhythmbox I get the error.
There may be issues with leaving this up, as it is probably copyrighted

sound events (was on Autodetect). I've only noticed this issue on
Pidgin notifications and those are working normally now. Changing to

Ok, I found and installed "oss-compat" and this provided a number of new
choices, including OSS: /dev/dsp. I selected that for playback and it
works now. However, it does seem to block all other devices from
concurrent playback. It's a reasonable workaround for now.

Sorry for the delay. Using AZ's deb, I tried selecting a section of the
Evolution window and not the border, and indeed it seemed to work.
However, there are some problems. First, and minor, when clicking on
the close button on Evolution after using Alltray with it, it closes.

Yes, it is the same on both Feisty (using default OOo 2.2.0 and the
current alpha of Gutsy (using OOo Developer 2.3.0). Those installing
