I spoke with Mathieu Trudel-Lapierre, who is the developer assigned to
this bug, and he has clarified that this bug is indeed for the nm-applet
becoming unresponsive to interactions and submenus showing an empty list
issue. The fix for the leaks is correct but it did not fix the
underlaying issue t
This seems to occur frequently after suspend/resume. I see the same
errors as reported in comment #69.
The errors are returned by bus_event_group or bus_about_to_show_group in
libdbusmenu-glib/server.c.
As such, I don't think the memory leaks are related to the issue with nm
not responding / not

mksquashfs (from squashfs-tools 1:4.0-8) is being invoked by live-helper
(now known as live-build). Occasionally, mksquashfs will hang at
seemingly 100%. I've captured the following debug information:

I changed the hostname on my printer. I forgot about this and the next
time I went to print something nothing would happen. I noticed the
status of my printer however changed from 'Idle' to 'Processing' to
'Idle - /usr/lib/cups/backend/hp failed'. I
I've ran into this issue twice now today. I can be creating VMs just
fine and then go to create another one and it fails with this error.
Rebooting fixed the issue the first time and I was able to create VMs
again like normal but then for seemingly no reason I started getting the
error again.

updated to set the new login command as just 'gdmflexiserver' instead of

Agreed. Please revert and fix the real issue - that xscreensaver gets
installed for whatever reason on Kubuntu upgrade from Karmic to Lucid.
Furthermore, in the future, changes that you know or suspect will affect
other flavors of Ubuntu should be discussed first on ubuntu-devel before
being made.
I also experienced this issue in normal Ubuntu. Not sure if the problem
is in gstreamer or Totem.

available in Xubuntu (Xubuntu has the pop up behavior disabled via gconf
key) . It does however show up, grayed out, when apt is running. Right

Its highly probably this issue is already resolved in later versions of
reprepro and/or libdb (reprepro checkpool certainly works for me). Would
it be possible for you to test this with reprepro and libdb from a newer
version of Ubuntu?
