Actually, I have found that the problem has probably to do with evolution-data-server and not evolution itself. If I click on the 'Clock' applet on my gnome-panel, the entire panel hangs until I 'killall gnome-panel'. So evolution is probably hanging also when it tries to talk to EDS. Do you sti
