In version 8.0.1ubuntu1 on lucid (amd64), 'cal -3' does not display
correct output. See attached for screenshot of what it does. 'cal' and
'cal 2009' both display correctly. I am running this in an xfce-
terminal that has a size of 80x24.
I believe they are the default, though Im not completely sure. Someone
else probably knows better than I do.
After installing that package and then logging out and then back in
again it works. Thanks.

The openafs kernel module builds and installs using m-a, however, when I
try to start openafs-client it says:

Thanks. It builds now. But it still wont work. But thats a different

I tried the commenting out of the 5 lines in /usr/bin/compiz and that
seemed to work for a while but it does not completely fix the problem
for me. It happens about 3 times a day now instead of once every 5

specified amount on the command line such as 'aumix -v+10'. However, it

Sorry I have been away for the past month and havent had a chance to
test my wired connection until now but it still seems to be happening
with the latest updates, however it takes longer to happen. While it
used to drop the connection within a few hours now it seems to keep it

The linux-backports-module-386 package did not work for me on a D830
with the 2.6.22-14-386 kernel. I am currently using alsa-
driver-1.0.15rc2 on 2.6.22-11. That is the only combination that I have
found to work for me.
