Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: openoffice.org
There are a few rendering issues in the latest openoffice in karmic.
1. No icons. All of the icons in the toolbars have been replaced with their
text representations and the ones that are normally on the left side of File,
Edit, etc. menus just arent there. I never changed any option to make the
toolbars text only and I dont think there is an option to get rid of the icons
in the menus.

2. I went to check to see if there was a new option or something that
would be causing all of this, and there were lots of invisible elements
in the dialog box. Almost all of the text, all of the checkboxes, and
most of the other input boxes were not visible, though I could at least
tab through them and a dotted box appeared as expected and would move to
different parts of the dialog box as I pressed tab. Also, the +/- boxex
in the tree on the left hand side were not visible, though I could click
where they should have been and the tree expanded/collapsed as expected.

Attached is a screenshot showing both the Options dialog box in Writer
with the iconless toolbars behind it. I also briefly opened Calc to see
if it had the same problems and after seeing it was also missing icons
in the toolbars, I did no further testing in it.

** Affects: openoffice.org (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
