automatically launched when I start any application which tries to
connect to reader.

I first found this bug on Ubuntu 10.10 and I thought that it may be
solved on 11.04. But after upgrading my OS version, the problem still
exists. I assume that reinstalling my system will not solve the problem.

Following your advise, I completely removed pcscd and libccid from Synaptec
Package Manager and then I reinstalled it from the link you sent me. The
installation results are attached.
Unfotunately, it doesn't solve the proble: I still can't acces my smart card.

Hi Ludvic,
I would like to create log but I can't do it becuase if I excute"pcscd --debug"
from command line as su, the problem doesn't happen.
Do you have any idea how to create log file without executing pcscd manually?

The same bug happens also if I install pcscd and ccid from Ubuntu
Synaptic Package Manager (which installs pcscd 1.7.0 and ccid 1.4.2).

I still don't understand what's going on.
I upgraded to Ubuntu 11.04 and installed pcsclite 1.7.2 and CCID 1.4.4. It
seems that the installation was not completed as expected:
1. CCID udev file was not copied to /etc/udev/rules.d (as you can see in the
attached screenshot)
