Hi Ludovic, I still don't understand what's going on.
I upgraded to Ubuntu 11.04 and installed pcsclite 1.7.2 and CCID 1.4.4. It seems that the installation was not completed as expected: 1. CCID udev file was not copied to /etc/udev/rules.d (as you can see in the attached screenshot) 2. pcscd was installed at /usr/local/sbin with privileges: -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 309379 2011-05-31 13:58 pcscd As a result when invoking any application that uses pcsc, pcscd is not launched automatically, and ther is no communication with reader. If I execute pcscd manually (as su) then everything is working and I can access my smard card. Any idea?
