just wanted to confirm the behaviour and clarify a few things.
1. If Kontact is started it displays the akonadi error as described above.
2. If Kontact is closed and restarted the problems multiply.
3. Reason for this is that contact continues to run after X-out. To verify, go

I don't know if there is a reason for this but openmotif is at version
2.3.2 while we work with 2.2.x since Dapper.
I use Citrix Receiver and it requires at least 2.3.1 version of

Does anyone know why can't we get the updated version of openmotif in
the repos? Is there a reason or just nobody got to do it yet cuz it's
low priority.
As for workarounds yes there are two:
One is simply to create a link called libXm.so.4 which points to whatever
version you get when you instal
I will throw in my vote as well her:
I have been testing Kubuntu Karmic since Alpha releases. I have

My only complaint is that Konqueror is prompting through Update notifier

Sounds right. It is only the portion about installing or setting the
system language that fails to run. AFAIK this is added by Kubuntu and is
not a KDE issue.
And as I said the same thing happens in Ubuntu.
Can someone confirm this? It should be pretty easy to do so.

We really need to have this included in the Ubuntu repository.
It would make installation of a flash plugin in AMD-64 systems so much easier.
As of now one has to either compile from source or convert the rpms from
the dev's website to debs.

Yes it seems it is the same problem. I also have experienced the situation with
hitting one key and then getting a million dashes. Can't stop them other than
rebooting.
Any solution that I can try in order to be able to install from live cd?
So far I have only tested the i386 version.

I'm sorry to say but on my dapper partition it still does not work. Same

I do have an edgy partition and over there everything works fine.
