be completely wrong.
You should probably contact your hosting provider's tech support center.
Good luck,

You should probably contact the nutsmail folks for support.

I've tried looking at the source to see exactly what happens when I

Why don't you install via subversion and then you can update via a
simple command: "svn

It's a disk quota, not an IMAP quota. I suspect that to do an EXPUNGE,
a new copy of the mailbox is written and then replaces the original
afterwards. This is safer, but requires more disk
ou to post to the list? Why?
"The list" is a mailing list. When you post to
squirrelmail-users@lists.sourceforge.net, your message goes out
automatically to everyone that is subscribed to the list.

information about your system, I can't really offer specific suggestions.
I'd look at optimizing the IMAP server first.
Post details if you want a more in-depth analysis.

More detail is better. You've given us relatively nothing to work with.

Did you remember to restart httpd after editing php.ini? Also, IIRC
there have been fixes for this sort of thing, so you really should try
upgrading to the latest stable release first.

use the LOGIN method. Then secure
squirrelmail by using HTTPS, such as some mod_rewrite rules or the
secure_login plugin. (I prefer the plugin, I find it more flexible but
that's just me).

Patches? We don't need no patches. I don't have to show you no

done on the server at the time of delivery.

imscan and/or qmail. Something's not right in your SMTP setup.
You didn't give me any real details, so I can't identify it any clearer
than that.
You may want to try doing a "test run" using telnet to port 25 of your
SMTP server.
