I'm running Squirrelmail version 1.4.4-1.FC2 on one of our older FC2
mail servers and I'm using a rewrite rule for the webmail URL in order
to enable centralized basic SSL authentication.
RewriteRule https://intranet.mydomain.com/webmail(/.*)?
http://mailserver.mydomain.com/webmail$1 [P]
Everything works great except that users get this error when trying to
send mail:
*ERROR*
You must be logged in to access this page.
*Go to the login page <http://mail02.codereach.com/webmail/src/login.php>*
Even with the error, the mail is successfully sent to the recipients and
I still seem to be logged in because I can get back to the Inbox by
clicking the INBOX link in the left frame. However, when I click on the
"Go to login page" link, it switches to the
"http://mailserver.mydomain.com/webmail/src/login.php" URL. So
something seems to be getting mixed up because of the rewrite rule.
I've tried looking at the source to see exactly what happens when I
click the Send button, but wasn't able to locate anything. Does anybody
have any suggestions to fix this problem? Thanks much,
Chris
