I just tried a simple installation of v1.5 SquirrelMail (we have been
using v1.4.2). I have discovered that the initial inbox display for an
IMAP folder with about 1100 messages is several times longer in v1.5. In
v1.4.2 it only takes a couple of seconds to display the first 15
messages
I used the RPM install for RedHat 9 and I was wanting to know something. How
do I access SquirrelMail now? Or are there additional configurations that must
be done?

A few things to try:
hostname <== to wsee hat the system sees < == If not what you want change it.
go into the SM config
option 2 <== See what it is showing as your domain name.
