Hi! A friend of mine is using SquirrelMail 1.4.4 as part of her website
hosting service, so she's accessing it via cPanel.

She's got 118MB of e-mail total in her account, the bulk of which is
stored in about 50 or so folders. When I login to SM to see how long it
takes to load for her, it's taking about 30 secs to display her inbox
and folder list.

Is there anyway to speed up the loading speed? Reducing the volume of
e-mail might be one thing but if the bulk of that 118MB is stored in
folders that haven't been opened, why would or could that impact the
loading speed of the inbox?

She's got 20 messages in her inbox now, with one message that is 9MB and
one 238k and one that is 168k. The rest are 10k or smaller in size.

Any advice on speeding up the loading of her inbox would be greatly
appreciated. I don't know which IMAP server is being used and SM is
running in a PHP 4.3.10 environment.

Thanks!

Peace...

Tom
