One line description of the problem: Text files get munged when

Whenever I click the send button in squirrelmail, the email goes through
but I receive an "Action Canceled" error message. Also, when I am
viewing a message and click delete, the message gets deleted but I
receive a "Page Cannot Be Displayed" error. I have no idea why this
started happening, b
Again, in alignment with other posts...you must ask your users
what they use thier MUA for. At one of my sites with similar
users/usage, I would find quite a fight to move people to squirrelmail
only. Mainly because of:
1) reminders, todo, calendar
reminders/todo are available as plugins
calendar
SquirrelMail 1.4.2
PHP 4.3.4
UWIMAPD (IMAP4rev1 2002.325-cpanel)
Apache 1.3.29
RedHat 7.3
Variable Sent Folder version 0.4.
When I open a message in the Sent folder, I can use the "Edit Message as
New" link. However, sent messages saved in some other folder (by using
Variable Sent Folder plugin)

*sigh*
Please forgive me for totally overlooking the fact that I simply called
the file the wrong name.
Many apologies. Ran out of coffee. Augh!
