Hi,
I have problems to set the tablebase directory in my options menu: the
option is present in the option menu but it is unavailable (gray) then I
can't select my nalimov directory.
Any suggestion?
Thanks.

In advance, you can lock any engine in a specific position and let the
other engine goes on analysing the rest of the positions surfing the
game in the notation window.

Hello Alexander,
that indicator shows a value passed back by the engine.
Not all engines compile that value, try the free Toga or Fruit and let
me know, they work for me.

Hello Pascal,
I have found a bug in the analysis window with lock engine activated.
If the side to move in the GUI position is different from the side in
the engine position, the evaluation is shown with the opposite sign (+/-).
The fix is already in CVS, I don't know if you want to include it i
see if it can fit your request.

Hello,
I've just committed some changes in CVS.
In detail:
1) New way to add the engine analysis at the end of a game (Alexander
idea of few days ago)
I'd suggest to use the following way to annotate at the end
of the game

The buttons "start/stop" and "lock" are mutually exlusive (it does not
make sense to have a locked engine if it's stopped).
So we have two ways:
1) when we stop a locked engine, the lock flag must be reset.
2) when an engine is locked, it cannot be stopped.
If I think that the position of a locke
Nice idea, Alexander.
I take a look at that.

The more interesting thing is the picture of Iweta Rajlich... :)
I'm joking. More seriously, I admit that I had in mind cb9 features,
when I did all changes in the scid analysis interface, so this article
couldn't be more interesting for me.
Above all, I find very intriguing the new Monte Carlo s
it in CVS sources.
Please, give me a feedback.

Hi Alexander,
I can't reproduce the problem, do you remember if you did some other
actions before starting the engine?
The (a) in the tooltip is for the shortcut key to start/stop engine.

Hello Roy,
I've already fixed this issue.
I'm waiting that Pascal is
back to give him the new sources, but you can be sure that the history
mode in analysis window will be restored.

- Solved a possible bug in main.tcl (preMovedCommand proc) that called
resetAnalysis only for the first engine (this is a bug in my opinion,
but I'm not sure, in the opposite case take back my change).

Anyway, in the next days I will take a look to the source
code, and I could try to add a button to show/hide the history,
resizing the analysis window as required.
Of course, the information
must still be present in the code, otherwise I can't do much.
