Glad to see this feature being implemented. I seem to recall asking

I agree with Pascal, I would also add that it would create a behaviour
that is not coherent with the rest of the functionality. In Scid, if
you want to save a game, you must hit CTRL-S.

saving a game to an "X" database, i would like to collect all of my
games on a single database called "ficsgames" or something like that,
and later to work on that database on my own.

If you want to delete Scid's configuration files, they are located at
"~/.scid".

and install it, it will overwrite all of your wrong files.
Scid never crashed on my system (slackware-12.2), What's the message you
receive?, if the message it`s that your engine crashes that's a
different thing

Can someone tell me how to uninstall Scid. I don't see any instructions
for this. I need to uninstall and then install fresh. I made errors in
first install and Scid now crashes when I play game.
