I agree with Pascal, I would also add that it would create a behaviour that is not coherent with the rest of the functionality. In Scid, if you want to save a game, you must hit CTRL-S.
An interesting way to have the cake and eat it, though, would be to have a warning about the need to save the game or discard it, when another game is about to start.
