Just a crude guess: do you have something like a "chord"
click on OS X? That is "left and right button"?

In mac compilation you can see all right click function with a mouse
using central click, then you can see on the mask menu that "marker
1" and "marker 2" has no image on the contextual menu, the images
appear on the tree mask but the images do not appear on the menu.

with scid on mac os x about right click. Now all is clear:
-Functions under right clik are activated in mac os via CENTRAL click
in a mouse. This works in all right click function i tried so far.
