Just a crude guess: do you have something like a "chord"
click on OS X? That is "left and right button"?
In X11 this is the usual way to accomplish a 3rd button
click. Additionally, I've to use this chord e.g. if I want a
small popup board in the PGN window or to see the
full moves list in game list window and so on. (This is no
bug in Scid, it has to do with how an external mouse is
handled versus the trackpoint device.)
