Mine is vfat (fat 16 + LFN). I can mount some ok, but fdisk doesn't like the others. I have repartitioned many times, something is most likely not quite standard...I also have an EZ-BIOS extension for the large (4+ GB) hard drive (Maxtor). But I'm not sure about the original guy's problem... J

I didn't use fips when I installed Linux, but as far as I know you can't change the partition type without blowing away data (I could be wrong). I have a problem mounting my extended partitions in Linux (windows thinks they are ok, but Linux fdisk says they are messed up. The only solution I could
