been setting up some Red Hat 7.3 Linux servers that need to register
themselves against Windows DNS servers running AD

have my dns records updated when a client pulls an
addy via dhcp.
This is done via an entry in my dhcpd.conf and has the
lines;
ddns-update-style interim;
ddns-updates on;
