Ron,

If your running both DHCPD and DNS/BIND either on the same server or even on
separate servers, then yes, you can configure dhcpd to send an update
request to your dns server to update both the forward lookup and reverse
lookup zones. This is done using nsupdate.

I followed the excellent example in man dhcpd.conf once I had both dns and
dhcpd up and running on my local network. Skip to the part of the man page
labled DYNAMIC DNS UPDATES.
