Hi! I'm german and so I use german special charaters instead of ae, oe, ue and ss. Like ä, ö, ü and ß. I use my RH7.3 linux server as a samba file server, too. If I save a file with a file name with geman spezial characters in a samba directory, in the (Windows)explorer the file names are right.
