Kevin: I guess you saw by now the various responses we have had to IP forwarding. And yes the suggestions to change the /etc/sysctl.conf is the way to allow IP forwarding. You set the net.ipv4.ip_forward = 1 which it looks like you already have to begin with. I have used both ways with RH 6.2
