Is there a comparable command to setcolor
for RedHat 7.2?
I don’t suppose anyone knows what escape sequence(s)
that RedHat 7.2 uses to make something “blink”
or “flash” under the bsh shell. Maybe it
doesn’t use one at all, but I am hoping someone out there might know…
Thanks in advance,
Jayson

Does anyone know if cdrecord can
burn to DVD burners. I didn’t see anything in
the man pages, but thought there might be a new(er)
version that could handle it?

I don’t know if this is the correct forum for this
question, so if not perhaps someone could point me to the right spot. Anyway, I
am trying to run a connection-oriented client program on RedHat
7.2. The client IP is 192.168.254.87 and I can ping it from the server, and can

I appreciate it.

I was wondering if someone could help me with setting up a
tape drive on an existing RedHat 7.2 system. It is a
Seagate SCSI tape drive. I am sorry to be such a newbie about this, but I am
completely clueless on how to start. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I was thinking it something along those lines, just hoping I could do it
this way, but will try something else. I appreciate the help though.
