I would think the easiest way is to install the smp kernel off of the
RedHat 8.0 CD 1.
They are located in the /RedHat/RPMS/ directory. Choose one of the
following, depending on what type of system you have (athlon or intel).

Can you manually send an e-mail from the tripwire machine to the e-mail
address you want to send the e-mail's to (ie, with the 'mail' command).
Have you checked your logs to see for any error messages? Do you
receive any type of error messages when you run tripwire manually?

1) Click and drag the space above clipper to the bottom of the screen:

My opinion on Red Hat 8 is a good one. I modified their bluecurve theme
so that it was to my liking, but overall I like it. I don't see what
all the fuss was about with it. I mean, it's just a theme (from what I
notice) and it's just as easy to take it off to the traditional KDE
theme.

the BIOS for all machines. So, as long as I make sure a bootloader
