My guess is 256, but looking thru the source code would probably tell you

If you are looking for a way for people to access their files remotely you
may want to look into apache and ModDAV. I am sure their are other web
interfaces, but most will not use samba, but rather a web server and the
filesystem directly.

I know this a shot in the dark, but...
I have been remotely backing up a RH 6.0 box using Arcserve for quite a
while with uagentd. However, I can't get it to work on my new 7.2 box. I
have to use ver 4 as I am using Arcserve 6.6. The newer version of the
agent will only work with Arscerve 7...

The symptom was umount2 couldn't unmount /usr. We added a diagnostic mod
to /etc/rc.d/init.d/halt. Adding a call to /sbin/fuser to find the offending pid(s)
and then to /sbin/lsof to see exactly what files were preventing the umount we

It does work when the laptop are on the lan. The only
reason I did not think it was a firewall setting was
because I am able to get remote XDMCP connections
through VPN to HP-UX systems with no problems.

I have a printer on my Linux box set up as a print server. When I print from
my WIndows box, and tell it I want multiple copies, I get a dialog box saying
this printer can print at most one copy at a time.
What can cause this?
