I managed to get a kernel built with multicast routing and ipip
tunnelling (kernel version 2.0.31 which came with the CD).
And I found a mrouted 3.9 beta. The problem appears to be that

I've upgraded my RH4.2 kernel from 2.0.30 to 2.0.34 using the
.tar.gz file, compiled and it's going fine now...
But I'm still not sure about 2 things: Sistem.map and module-info
still point to files from 2.0.30 version, and I've not found anywhere on

If you deleted the partition for hda1 and that is where your win95 is . I think

The folloowing commands have stopped working on my system
w,top,wall,finger and talk. they re all reporting "no users logged on"

I met a problem with NFS while running Red Hat 5.0. The NFS has been
working
great for several month. But today the cleint machine of NFS gave the err
message "NFS server not responding". When I reboot the NFS server, I
notice I have the messge:

Im trying to upgrade my RH4.2 kernel from 2.0.30 (default that
came with CD) to 2.0.34.
I've got the RPMs from

as someone told me to do... But when I try to install the new
kernel I get this error:

Forgot to mention that sound.o seems to work as an auto-load module now (I
just enabled this kernel feature; solved my FAT32 problems as well).

I am kind of new to this, but I have installed Red Hat several times. I have tried to
create 2 boot floppies and neither one of them work. The first disk I made was with
Red Hat's install program, the second I made with mkbootdisk When I start up on a
floppy, I get the Lilo prompt, then it tries
