Hi Artur, could you see if the patch attached to Jim Henderson's
crash-on-shutdown thread fixes this problem for you?

I believe this is it:
#0 0x4076336f in g_type_check_instance_cast () from
/opt/gnome/lib/libgobject-2.0.so.0
#1 0x080b381e in ~HeaderPane (this=0x9155780) at header-pane.cc:1496

Ah yes, the other thing that came to mind - the rules engine. :-)
I used to use the rules engine in 0.14.x to download new messages from
non-binary groups so I could read them offline. I can't seem to find a
way to do this in 0.97.
I've also noticed that after the crash I reported earlier (wh
Two other things came up:
1. Saving the subscription list as soon as a change is made - after
posting this, I crashed pan (segfault, I'm trying to duplicate) and lost
all of my subscriptions info.
2. The returh of the 'a' key to download new headers in the currently
selected group.

Three things for 0.97 in my look at it right now:
1. I believe it may have been mentioned before, but the option to move to
the next group with unread messages would be very good to have back. (ie,
pressing "G" to move to the next group).
2. When selecting "Show Matching Articles' Threads" and

In my experience, clicking the expand/collapse thread arrow beside a
subject is problematic if you either navigate to a subject (using
or , for example) or click on the subject itself. Clicking the arrow
after doing any of these things will momentarily collapse the

Hi Duncan,
You seem to be running a 'gentoo-unstable' system, am I right? AFAICT,

Hi Charles,
This is not new in 0.97 but I just noticed again.
Try this: hit '1' to go to the expanded groups pane.
Now try to expand (or contract) the list of subcribed
or other groups. I find that I'm instantly taken to
a blank 'header' pane, which is not the desired action.
Thanks for the mo
