After reinstalling the package a couple of times to no avail (e.g. `sudo
dkms install broadcom-sta/6.30.223.271 --force`), I tried reinstalling
the Linux headers and rebooting.

sudo apt-get install --reinstall linux-headers-$(uname -r)
sudo reboot
```
Surprisingly, this actually worked.

1. The i915 kernel driver is crashing(?) on startup (I've seen this in
another bug report too):
i915 :00:02.0: [drm] Port B asks to use VBT vswing/preemph tables
2. The Bluetooth kernel driver is taking 20-30 seconds to start up
(download firmware?).
