23.10 with older Kernel.

This seems to be related on the perf c2c support for Alder Lake hybrid cpu
architecture.
I tried the exact same installation on an older intel cpu and perf c2c works
there.

I have a very similar problem: I created a virtual machine using VirtualBox 6
and installed Ubuntu 22.04 on it. Recently, I installed VirtualBox 7.0.18 and
created a virtual machine with Ubuntu 24.04. This VM installed Ubuntu

I am now trying to install these *.deb files. using " dpkg -i *.deb "
But when I boot up my machine to start on the new kernel, I don't get any
option to select your "-6.8.0-38-generic_6.8.0-38.38-acp-test"
Am I doing something wrong? or can you guide me in how to do it correct?
