Public bug reported:
Since its release, I have attempted upgrading many times from Ubuntu
22.04 to 24.04. Each attempt ends the same way: somewhere in the
upgrade, networking stops, and the upgrade cannot be completed.
Fortunately, a reboot allows networking to resume working.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better.
You've filed this against the ubuntu-release-upgrader tool that upgrades
a system from one release to a later release; ie. you appear to have
installed Ubuntu 24.04 LTS; that tool would upgrade your system to
Ubunt
Please make sure the fix really helps and file a SRU for the problem
which requires fix for it. If it's too late, we will wait for next SRU
for it.
