I am sticking with mainline 6.4 as it is the newest version that I
tested that boots Ubuntu 24 in normal mode. The issue seems to be
introduced I think from 6.5 because that is the first kernel which will
not boot.

I tried to install the packages with `dpkg -i --force-all` but some
lib-linux-something-5 wasn't replaced properly by the version 6.
