issue, I managed to get a workaround to work following the instructions
posted in this comment on the thread on the Arch forum

black screen after amdgpu

I did a clean install of ubuntu Desktop 24.04.1,
currently containing bluez 5.72-0ubuntu5.
Went through normal pairing procedure with a fairly vanilla Dell mouse MS5120W.
Worked fine.
Suspended computer, resumed a few hours later. Mouse was now unresponsive.
Bluetooth Settin
This problem also affects the ThinkPad X260 series.
Updated from Kubuntu 22.xx LTS to 24.04.1 LTS running with
6.8.0-45-generic (x64) kernel.
Standby will suspend but nothing can wake up it up again.
Hard shut down is required to turn it on again.
Shut down does not work either.
