not with Kernel 3.2.0-55.

I'm marking this as fixed as it's fixed in a released Ubuntu (13.10),
and the remaining thing would be to port needed patches to older
Ubuntus.
According to Kevin's test it may be that more patches would need to be
backported than the one specified. I'd recommend 13.04 users to upgrade

This problem includes two situations, one is the jumpy cursor with

After upgrading to Ubuntu Saucy (32 bit), I am able to reliably
reproduce a crash by pressing any button on the IR remote of a Mac Mini.
The system is running XBMC and using LIRC to handle the remote. The
system locks up on the first button press on the remote, and prints an

I have a USB hub with two devices attached: an ethernet card and a
wireless keyboard/mouse receiver. If I plug in or unplug my Galaxy Nexus
phone, it causes the other two devices to disconnect momentarily. If I

We need to have some mechanism to allow us to record that you have an
EOL kernel installed which will no longer recieve updates.
For example for the kernel when a kernel is going EOL the last upload
should include an appropriate file:
/var/lib/update-notifier/kernel-eol
So yes this is because of the unshare of the file system namespace.
Currently the only work around is the use of the attach_disconnected
flag. Alternate solutions are coming as part of the work to support lxc

I am unable to disable wake from suspend on USB devices, even though

with another distribution, Openelec. The system is running minimal
ubuntu 13.10 x64 and I am using a udev rule to disable wakeup.

time a fix for the Q77 chip set comes out? It's a pain to do the BIOS
update, and it's a pain to test this bug specifically, because it
requires several reboots and shifting cables behind a rack.
