Thank you for following up on my request for help. I did finally get DigiKam to
created a collection and thereby an album. But from there on I could not get
DigiKam to do what I wanted.

Can not do. I configured two cameras but digiKam will not import because
"camera-behavior" there is no album and it will not let me create one.

about "No default target album have been selected to process download from
camera device. Please select one."

digiKam will not let me add images from my computer's hard drive or directly
from a camera because I do not have a target album. But, I can not add an

Jack,
I'm on a PC and all the programs and data are on the one hard disk.
I did search the bugs database prior to posting but couldn't see any existing
bugs that seemed to be related, hence the new post.
