Maik,

Thank you for following up on my request for help. I did finally get DigiKam to
created a collection and thereby an album. But from there on I could not get
DigiKam to do what I wanted. 

I have 110,000 images in six parent directories on my data drive. I want drive
e: to be the high level directory/album/collection or whatever it is called for
my image collection. But I don't want all 35 directories on drive e: to be in
my image database. I spent a couple of days unsuccessfully trying to get
DigiKam to do that.

I gave up. DigiKam doesn't think like I do. It was a battle of wills and it
won.

I appreciate you help.
