(For "info-cyrus" users: I reported a problem to "cyrus-sasl" that
arises from some obscure getpwnam() call upon an imap login even if
authentication is exclusively made via SASL->LDAP. I thought this
call resulted from SASL, but it apparently does not)

while starting up cyrus master i get the following error message in
imapd.log
master[4491]: unable to bind lmtpunix socket: Address already in use
I am running cyrus 2.0.16 and postfix as mta. Cyrus starts and i can connect
it.
Could someone please give me some hints, where i have to look t
The documentation on Cyrus::IMAP, at least for perldoc, is a bit sparse. How
do I explicitly define the user and password to use for authentication via:
$client->authenticate()
Also, has anyone seen .cyradmrc documented?

then you don't even see the files named 1. 2. 3. ,etc. If that is the
case check the following, otherwise ignore.
What MTA are you using?
Try to run, as cyrus, the deliver script manually, and see if it can
find the mailbox,
