| If you use Mozilla (aka Netscape 6.x) then the problem is that Netscape
| tries to write the sent message into the wrong (nonexisting) folder. This
| seems to be a bug in Mozilla, first don't use the "Sent" folder on...

In my experience netscape usually thinks that you meant Sent and not 
INBOX.Sent and fixes your preferences but it works anyway because it looks 
for INBOX.Sent if Sent isn't found. What can be a big problem is if someone 
with admin priviledges runs some MUA and succeeds in creating a Sent folder 
at the same level as user, netscape then never tries to use INBOX.Sent even 
though it cannot use Sent.
